Michelle Buabin gets personal invite to the Princes Trust 40th!
Held in the beautiful settings of Lambeth Palace (FYI- great wedding location), selected entrepreneurs were invited to attend a private event held by the Princes Trust to celebrate their 40th year anniversary and showcase their businesses products and services to over 300 VIP guests.
I was among one of them battling between two emotions - excitement as rumours started spreading that Prince Charles would be attending the event (which he didn't lol) and nervousness as I honestly didn't know who I'd meet!

These stunning florals soon became a main attraction as guests entered the room. My aim was to have a combination of strong pleasant scents in order to form an interaction with people. I felt so proud and honoured of the outcome of this design and worked so hard to get this completed within 24 hours.
Designing
I wanted to create an outdoor feel for a summer party (obviously pretending that its the perfect summer weather too), and featured the colours to represent the following:
Greens - Outdoor summers day (as it was a garden party)
Whites - For freshness and to lift darker colours within design
Lilacs & Purple - For luxury and to show a bold contrast within the design as it is a party!

I honestly had the best day and met some great entrepreneurs who are doing amazing things.. you may want to check them out too:
Shaheda Begum - Luxury Handbags
Roy Ikoroha - Designer and Photographer
Alexandra Jacoumis - Fine Gold Jewellery
After the event, I was so overwhelmed and thankful with the feedback and the amount of luxury event planners I met on the day, I felt like giving out the same love I received - so as I thank you to the venue, I gave the biggest centrepiece away to the palace for their guests to enjoy.
